Politico: Budapest and Moscow signed an agreement in December 2025 to expand ties between the two countries. The 12-point deal was signed by Hungary’s foreign minister and Russia’s health minister following talks in Russia. The text outlines plans to deepen economic, trade, energy, and cultural cooperation. The agreement also opens the door for Russian companies to launch new electricity and hydrogen projects in Hungary, as well as closer cooperation in oil, gas, and nuclear fuel sectors. In addition, Budapest agreed to employ teachers from Russia to “strengthen” the Russian language in Hungary, and to establish exchange programs at all levels of education between the two countries. 🪐 Subscribe to Live: Ukraine
