My sister was a vet nurse for decades. She always discouraged giving the dogs sticks, because splinters can do some really nasty mouth/digestive tract damage. I can't help imagining this when I see happy puppers with large sticks that have spiky bits on!
Talk to your local doggy expert to find out what kind of sticks, if any, are most suitable for your pup(s).
