Apparently the fediverse is not a place for people to debate different opinions about technology.
That is untrue. I even saw someone using emacs the other day.
More seriously, if someone wants to set up an instance dedicated to discussions about AI, they can.
If they want to set up an account on someone else's server and toot about AI, they can, assuming that the server rules permit it.
They can share their opinions to their heart's content.
What they cannot do is ensure that anyone else engages with them, boosts them, makes them feel important etc.
I unfollow people who post about vibe coding / slop / AI, and mute or block if needed.
I'm a lawyer.
I was due to be replaced by AI ages ago.
If we have to have AI cranks online, I'd prefer this type 😉
