This!!!!

When my TV asked about automatic content recognition I decided to set up an internal only (no net) network and everything but VPN/adblock phone and laptop are over there.

99% of people have no idea..and thats how they like it.

@avlcharlie Exactly. People think “smart” means convenient, but it really means constantly phoning home. Most users will never see it, and manufacturers count on that.
