Pixy's Journey 
#Journal of a Dutch AuDHD Pixy 
(Sunday, 05/04/2026).
I had a decent enough sleep, I woke up once for a short time, but then I dozed off again until my alarm woke me up. According to my watch, I got almost 8 hours of sleep, so not too bad at all. I got up, grumbled at the scale, and I got dressed. I took my meds, packed my bag, and I headed to Skoosh, so we could skedaddle to the gym.
I enjoyed my protein shake while I checked in with my social bits and bops. Then, I got to the recumbent bike. I rode it for 25 minutes, and then I followed it with 15 minutes on the treadmill. After a massage in the chair, I switched my shoes, and I got ready to head back home again.
Back home, I washed up and got to the couch. I grabbed my laptop, and I worked on my journal toot. A bit of blog writing. And some relaxing, while re-watching Scandal on the telly. I read for a bit, and then, I headed upstairs, where I rode my bike for 24 minutes.
I made some food, relaxed some more, played a bit with some AI. Even though I had a decent enough night, I still felt rather tired. So, I took it easy with telly and TV.
When the neighbor texted, I headed out for a short walk, cuddles, and snacks with the big black 🖤 fluff. When I got back, I got ready to head to Cuijk. I made a pit-stop at Lidl, to get some groceries. Then, onward to the pups. When mum had parked as well, we headed to the door, getting ready for many doggy cuddles! 🤎
The pups were snoozing a lot, but mister white (paw) got up and he wanted all the attention and cuddles. He was joined by beige, and after that, more of the pups woke up. The cute fluffy ones were testing their teeth a lot again, and sometimes, they got some mean bites in… We got in many cuddles, and I took some videos and pictures.
Pupdate news: Joke had some news for me/us, which was understandable, but it did make me sad a bit. She was trying to set a date for the pups to get their chips. Once they have those, she can take them to the vet for titer tests, to make sure that they are protected well enough, so they can head out in the world. But, if the chips will be placed later than she hoped, she won’t be able to get everything ready in time to meet the dates for the pups to be picked up. No just for me, but for other pawrents as well… So yeah, if she can get things sorted in time, it’s all going as planned. But… It looks like there may be a delay in it, which means it will take a few more days to a week, before I can take Koa home… Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that she can get things sorted in time, but she didn’t feel too optimistic about it, as the one that does the chipping had not been the best in communicating lately… 😞
After the pups got their kibble porridge, mum and I got ready to head home. I had “homework”, as I would need to write about my favorite pup, why he was my favorite, and what I was planning to do with him, what kind of character was I looking for… I’ll have to text Joke this before Wednesday, as she will get the testing and naming done then… Hopefully I will be able to get my number one, or number two… 🍀
I got home, and I got ready for bed. I was tired enough, and a bit sad due to the pupdate news. It didn’t take me too long to doze off. I woke up once for the loo, and then I slept until the alarm told me it was time to get up. So, I got up, the scale was a bit kinder to me, and I got dressed, ready to start my “day”.
