Mm, I'm exhausted today and I'd love to play Stellaris. Too bad it doesn't exist any more.
Just a giant pile of "optional" DLC that randomly changes mechanics to be worse and breaks mods.
Sigh... I miss before Paradox turned to complete shit. It'd be nice to play games aimed at me that weren't also being destroyed by sleaze.
@Craigp This for me is a large part of the reason to always buy on #gog and keep backups of the offline installers from every major version of a game.
Stellaris never really clicked for me (probably I tried it when the enshittification had already proceeded too far), but they also ruined Surviving Mars, and there I am very glad I still have my ancient version to play.
