@fesshole if you really want to get into the nitpicky efficiency details, is this leading to you using more or less toothpaste? I assume you're using more since you don't see it and you're squeezing harder to get it out faster, which means you're using up the toothpaste faster, which is ultimately costing you more.
Also, while you might gain a few seconds not having to put it on the tooth brush, I bet you're losing even more time maneuvering the paste in your mouth to meet the brush.
@fesshole Don't know about dentists over there, but at least here we get to hear that the brushing itself is the most important. The quality and brand of the toothpaste matters less. As long as it contains some fluoride.
It's all about properly removing the biofilm of microorganisms from the teeth at least twice a day. Best with the electric toothbrush for the full two minutes the machine tells you. Dental care is about preventing issues.
