User's perspective on @libreoffice - @collabora - @tdforg drama

(1) #LibreOffice, #CollaboraOnline & #CollaboraOffice are only credible & thriving if ALL are 100% compatible

(2) It's substantially more sustainable & trustworthy if an organisation, not a company, steers the main offer i.e. #LibreOffice

(3) Internal disputes and mistrust inevitably lead to users distrusting all products

What's the solution to this?

@CollaboraOffice @Sweetshark @erAck @kohei @rl_dane @thb #OpenDocumentFormat

@GerryT @libreoffice @collabora @tdforg @CollaboraOffice @Sweetshark @erAck @kohei @rl_dane well it appears in general both companies & orgs can stray from the right path. from my perspective: as long as the code is fully #FOSS , things will self-correct over time. #LibreOffice 's history is one of the best illustrations of that fact.

Not to be argumentative or anything, but I truly wish I was still this optimistic.
If you have some good examples of things self-correcting (again, not being argumentative), it would probably do my heart some good.

Everything looks to me to be going to insanityville at warp speed. Even the Linux world.
