Also since you DO need a reliable printer, get a Brother inkjet. Works on Linux, allows 3rd party printer cartridges, seamless WiFi even for phones, just keeps on ticking.

I'd probably recommend a Brother *laser* specifically. The toner cartridges are fairly affordable and last forever. Heck, I'm still using the small toner cartridge that came with the unit when I bought it. But yeah, Brother printers are among the last tech devices that just plain work and don't try to rip you off.

@DaveMWilburn @scottwilson 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♂️ another shoutout to the wife is a reached and old brother laser printer crew, picked up off marketplace for 20$ with extra 3rd party toner. Just don’t hang out near it when it’s warming up with an air quality sensor.
