Addendum : Q4_K_M with VL mmproj F32 (BF16 would probably work too) of the same model with reasoning on was able to solve in 18 mins on a 14 years old RIG with DDR3, and answer to the question: "solve this puzzle to form a white square." ✅ :

Downside: it takes ~3GB more in memory.
IMPORTANT: As Kaggle's SAE Exam proved (see other more recent toots on my profile), these quantized models are not reliable, and it still fails to propose a solution to the original question. #LLM
Gemini 3 Pro can solve the initial question. However, I have noticed inconsistencies with the Kaggle's SAE tests -> it doesn't always succeed and won't understand there is an error, thus also unreliable (confirmed by other testers' results at kaggle's: they don't always get 100% on multiple attempts at the kaggle's SAE ). #LLM #AISafety #enisa
