william.maggos#CindyCohn from the @eff was on #TheDailyShow this week. It was really good and she even mentioned @Mastodon. But they disagreed re dealing with corporate social media platform harms. Her concern being to avoid censorship while Jon was arguing that just limiting the algos was not censorship. I think the fedi is the answer to this conundrum. I think a law against them could be constitutional, but I think true decentralization makes them unworkable anyway.
