I just made a funny discovery with my Pathfinder AP interactive PDF map. The interactive feature allows you turn turn the grid squares on/of, as well as map labels. So if you have a mansion or a dungeon or whatever, you can share it with the players and they don't see how a room is labeled.

But hilariously, while that feature turns off the map labels, IT DOESN'T TURN OFF THE SECRET DOORS on the map. 😂

Glad you put all that work into that feature and it is useless...

@croyle yeah, all those extras are things paizo can do during production, but to have a version without secret doors basically requires commissioning a second map so doesn’t happen.

When I’ve run games VTT before I often edit maps myself to remove secret doors but I’m not that good so they are often damn obvious if they look at all closely.

@deinol I find that the bandaid tool in Photoshop *usually* makes very quick work of effectively removing things like those unwanted secret doors. It works even better with printed physical maps but I don't know how many people still use those. (I do on occasion.)
