We have been talking about the Digital Transformation for 20+ years now, and many organizations still haven’t gotten that right. The world is barreling full speed ahead into the AI Transformation, while still saddled with Digital Transformation problems. 👀😬

@accidentalciso

hey, if you're already doing one thing half-assed, that means you still have half an ass to use on something else, right? :)

@paul_ipv6 when you put it that way, it sounds like a strategy! 🤣😭

tfw when LLMs are supposed to bring added value by incorporating them in corporate processes and workflows that had no value to begin with...

So freaking true.

And I think the repercussions and technology debt from AI is gonna be massive. Something organizations will be dealing with for decades.

@accidentalciso I've seen many examples of people using the AI Transformation to make that Digital Transformation happen. Sometimes, it pays to be a laggard :)

One friend I talked to works at a non-profit that does 1:1 counselling for folks in need. There are a bunch of restrictions of who can talk to who and who's available when, and all of that scheduling used to be done by hand.

This friend -- not a developer by any means -- was able to use AI to create a system for this and move that fully to a digital, automated workflow.

@accidentalciso Transformation never is finished, only looking back can we say if it actually happened at all.
