It was much better in the olden days when kids would play with lego and put it back in the box once they'd finished. Now, houses are overrun with huge lego models. Don't even get me started on Hot Wheels tracks.
@anon_opin nah, you can’t do anything substantive when everything goes back at night. Letting kids make a persistent mess also means they’re figuring out long term planning and organization, skills many adults lack because they were forced into “tidiness.”
