•Establishment Democrats: This man is the single biggest threat to humanity and we will do everything in our power to destroy him

With corporate Democrats like these, who needs Republicans

@QasimRashid this is what primaries are for?

@crouton @QasimRashid

Sadly the US system is EVEN worse than the UK FPTP version.

In the UK system at least anyone can stand in elections against the incumbent parties and occasionally win...

Part of this is having maximum spending limits... Something apparently our Trump, Farage, wants to change!!!

In the US with their primaries and party registrations etc apparently no one outside the locked up system ever wins

We need to ensure we don't allow this money in here so effectively any parties to be buying votes with their advertising.

@crouton @QasimRashid
The Democrats will ratfuck every primary election. They’d rather lose to a fascist than win with a democratic socialist.
@QasimRashid
I feel bad for all the voters who are going to vote Democrat and be crushed when they don't do a damn thing to fix and reform anything. I've been jaded too many times. I will vote D but I am tired of constituents voting for republican-lite Democrats and not progressives who just want to fix shit (and prevent) and move on.

@kcanales02 @QasimRashid

i'm so lucky to have a rep who really cares and does the work.

but my senators? lmfao dick durbin? a pathetic defender of the status quo, like most other dems

@QasimRashid It's amazing to think that there's a mainstream political party in the US that is WILDLY UNPOPULAR WITH ITS OWN VOTERS.

In a functioning democracy, unpopular political parties DIE and new parties spring up to attract the dissatisfied voters.

Truly, a new party could unite 90% of the Dem voters and most of the non-voters (which is even more voters) mostly by calling themselves the WE HATE THE DEMOCRATS PARTY

We don't have to live like this.

@QasimRashid You're onto something there. Ask an anarchist if you want to solve the rest of the puzzle ;)
@QasimRashid if half usians vote reps, despite their bolt leader actions, and the other half vote dems, despite the lack of action, who needs USA empty democracy lessons? Just disband and lay down your arms.
@QasimRashid 😱 OMF! I did not realise that. Then it is really no longer a democracy in the correct sense of the word: Meaning "rule by the people," democracy is a system of government that not only allows but requires the participation of the people in the political process to function properly.
@QasimRashid hasan piker is a threat to his dog tho
@QasimRashid still need Republicans for
- nil trans rights
- shoot protesters in the face
- even if they aren't protesting
- kill good governance
- kill any sort of governance, graft and corruption for the win baby
- fuck jets (that's the verb)
- school loan forgiveness LOL
- invade countries
- wreck the economy
- wreck healthcare
@QasimRashid to be honest, the left's vote would be more impactful on the Republican side. They actually have democratic primaries at the federal level instead of pageant primaries with a winner the party already selected for their voters.
