2 nights ago I watched this film, and my faith in this old franchise was restored.

This is the best Predator movie to come out since the second instalment with Danny Glover.

@TresFluke while were doing hot takes in the Alien/Predator universe, Romulus is my favorite of the franchise after Alien

@owl Y'know something, when I was watching "Romulus" it struck me, the only reason why that film exists is to introduce the Xenomorphs to a new generation - it sort of felt likea re-tread. I LIKED it, but it didn't really give us anything we didn't already know?

@TresFluke oh, absolutely. It was basically an alien greatest hits and jumped the shark with "get away from her, YOU BITCH". But I still love it. Honestly most of the alien movies are horrible...

@owl I loved the first one, so moody and dark. "Aliens" is a frigging masterpiece IMO.
