@Axomamma NASA gets real things done on a shoestring budget. This is not some billionaire’s phallic folly. And so much public good has come from NASA.
I don’t want to pick fights over it, but I can’t see anyone at NASA working all these years and doing all this engineering “to distract.” It is literal rocket science. It cannot happen in response to current events. It is remarkable that they managed to keep it going to a conclusion in the 4 years since Artemis 1, all things considered.
@paco I'm not suggesting NASA is doing this to distract. I'm just annoyed this is being billed as "going to the moon."

Even my husband mentioned as much, “finally something nice to watch and think about”. I yearn for the day to come when we can be the country we want and should be, not the one I despise. The land of the free and the home of the brave.🩷😿
