My wife and I were discussing the upcoming address tonight and we both think it's going to be "boots on the ground". The news seems to be sure it's an announcement we're getting out, maybe within a month.
What's everyone's opinion?
The "address" was just a repeat of shit he's said already and nothing new really came about from this sad, low energy broken record.
Winding down wasn't mentioned and boots on the ground seem more likely in my opinion.
Haven't we been hearing the same self-contradictory messages of:
1. We won
2. It's almost over
3. We're going to hit them harder than ever if they don't capitulate
...for weeks now?
There's no plan here - it's just escalation and blathering for ego (because everything #Trump is 'for ego').
I don't want to see boots on the ground and the probable high casualties from that, but Trump dragged us into this with no plan, so....

We shouldn't have started at all, but I don't see dumbass wanting to be perceived as weak.
I hope it's we're getting out but the region is so messed up it won't change anything if we do.
As long as his Middle Eastern billionaire buddies want him to continue, he'll keep going. He'll dangle that carrot of withdrawal for as long as he can.
