Alright. I need some space travel movies to shove on as I work today that contain a maximal number of blinkenlights and a minimal number of space battles.

Leaning towards 2010: The Year Roy Scheider Was Awesome, and Outland, and... I mean basically just Peter Hyams movies.

Any other suggestions? Gotta be nice and manual looking. No The Martian or Interstellar touch screen bullshit.

kickin' off with 2010
@vampiress A sequel that is better than the original, IMO. Love that movie.
@vampiress 2010: The Year That Was 16 Years Ago 💀
@jplebreton And we STILL haven't been to Io on a rescue mission.
@vampiress I have one probably for later on in this journey. "Royal Space Force: The Wings Of Honneamise". There's a manned launch right at the end, but most of the story is the main character learning how to be an astronaut. And how to be a better person.
@vampiress Moon. Still a favorite of mine with realistic equipment and a good story.
@vampiress "Silent Running", the second half of "Dark Star" (first half is a boring slog).
@vampiress Alien has the correct vibe I think?
@vampiress 2001: A Space Odyssey
@vampiress super late, but Moon and/or Pandorum are my suggestions;
@idoclosecuts Huh. Pandorum. Not a recommend I've heard. Vaguely conscious of it as a scifi horror thing but that's about it!
@vampiress knowing how my brain works it probably isn’t exactly what you’re looking for but what you asked for made me think of it;
@vampiress Absurdly late, and a TV series instead of a movie, but have you seen For All Mankind?
@vampiress And closer to the topic, maybe Europa Report (2013)
