ig 🏳️🌈yesterday's warmth and sun have encouraged the cotoneaster to green up a little more. this tree had a very hard pruning 2 years ago that reduced it to a few stumps; most of the branching is from last year's growth. the tree grows so vigorously in summer that it takes almost constant pruning to keep it from turning into a bush. i recommend this variety—it's been very sturdy so far. (Cotoneaster acutifolius, 'Peking cotoneaster')
