@kindalame hmm i'll have to look into this. interesting article. i don't use cloudflare. i use VPS/caddy and yunohost/home computer setup. i've heard of netbird a few times though. they could give tailscale some competition which is good 
@tootbrute I used Tailscale for a long time and on my last trip, but also - they were born of Salesforce, gross.
