The Blue Rocks shack that is not Blue Rocks but Stonehurst. I once wrote a blog about Blue Rocks, and a person left a comment, "That's not Blue Rocks, it's Stonehurst!"

If she had actually read the post instead of responding only to the photos, she would've had a happier day. :)

We were there when we were there, so this is the lighting, but this is a popular subject and most do list it as Blue Rocks.

A friend who lives down the coast & is a talented photographer took us for a drive to Blue Rocks one day, bemoaning never being able to find the red shack that others had been posting. So...we showed him the blue rocks (it's a tide thing, you want to go at low tide), then we went looking for the red shack. We ended up on a very sketchy road to see where it would go, were wondering if it would ever come out to the water again, when we turned a corner, and there it was! Friend was so excited. :)
