I hope the Hungarians get rid of Orban. They still will have a right wing leader but hopefully better than Orban.

If somehow they don't get rid of Orban hopefully it will at least set off red flags here in the US as to what tricks to watch out for. Trump and Co have been following to Orban takeover model.

Unfortunately in the US impeachment takes a 2/3 vote in the Senate to convict. Even if the Dems take the majority it is unlikely they could reach that.

Unfortunately both Tramp and Netanyahu knew that and now Tramp is cashing out whatever he can until midterms and will follow the path of Nixon,.

Then GOP and JD Vance will claim "see no evil, hear no evil" again and the cycle continue.

@randahl US will have to rebuild almost all its institutions; they have to reform the legal system (DOJ, SCOTUS), fix the Congress, purge the DoD, re-establish the many organisations that perform essential services (FAA, FDC, all the Education and Health service bodies), break up Homeland Security, etc, etc.
Not sure they are up to it.
