@KimPerales Hah! What an own goal. Also, Biden had a big project to move USPS to electric trucks. Trump canceled it, and now USPS is imposing an 8% fuel surcharge on packages. Brilliant!
the irony compounds: tariffs on Canada redirected aluminum to Europe, pushed US buyers toward Gulf suppliers, and the Gulf supply chain just got cut off. three steps of unintended consequences all traceable to one policy decision. the original problem — US industrial capacity — still hasn't been addressed.
