So my kids never really believed in the Easter Bunny (past the age of 5 or so) because one year they looked out the window and saw us hiding eggs in the yard.

When my son was about 10 he called us out on it and said "I know that you hide the eggs, I saw you doing it!" We laughed and said, oh yeah, like the Tooth Fairy.

And then we watched him get super sad because I guess he had believed in the Tooth Fairy until that very moment.

Oops.

The Iran Nuclear Deal was the most important security agreement of this century, "not only of [Obama’s] presidency." Trump threw it away. He promised a “bigger, better deal” that he never delivered. This set us on the path to war. https://trib.al/YGwuJ07
When Did This War Really Start? When Trump Blew Up Obama’s Iran Deal

The 2016 JCPOA was real, and it was working. If Trump had stayed with it, there’d be no need—or excuse—for war today.

U.S. plan to restore American manufacturing:

1) Put tariffs on Canadian aluminum so they sell it to the EU.
2) Buy middle eastern aluminum instead.
3) Attack Iran and get aluminum stuck in Persian Gulf.

Seen in Seattle today. We're going to see $10/gallon before this is over. I guarantee it.

Good representation of the inside of my brain

"To the Iranians, the Strait of Hormuz now matters more than the nuclear program. The nuclear program was symbolic, but didn’t provide them with any deterrence. Now, the only reason why they are surviving this war is because of the strait. The Iranian thinking is that, at the end, the strait must remain under their control because it is their only deterrence and only source of revenue."

"Abu Dhabi’s Habshan gas fac🚨is on fire. Ops suspended -not an Iranian missile *was intercepted. Cause: debris from the interception falling onto one of the largest gas proc complexes on earth. Air DEF: worked -plant caught fire anyway🚨*defines this war.

It processes🚨6.1B stand cubic ft of gas/day across 5 plants *origin pt of the HF pipeline: #UAE’s primary bypass rte around the SoH. #Iran doesn't need to penetrate the shield -needs to overwhelm it with vol."

Don't pay attention to the noise from the White House. It's very clear that markets and consumers vastly prefer lower cost energy sources that hedge fossil fuel price volatility. 88% of all new generation added in the US last year. https://electrek.co/2026/04/01/ferc-renewables-made-up-88-of-new-us-power-generating-capacity-in-2025/
FERC: Renewables made up 88% of new US power generating capacity in 2025

In 2025, renewables accounted for 88.4% of all new generating capacity, while natural gas added just 11.4%, according to FERC data.
