Today I Installed #OpenCloud and completed my move away from Nextcloud.

I'm really happy with it.

Nextcloud was by far the most frustrating application I've self hosted. If there was a way for Nextcloud to be annoying, it would do it.

Been using #Immich for a while and it's amazing. That's replaced Memories.

Recently started using #Joplin. That's replaced Notes.

Set up some shared calendars with symlinks in OpenCloud's #Radicale add-on to replace Calendar and Contacts.

#SelfHosted #HomeLab

@connel then you can share your Joplin notes between devices using opencloud https://dev.to/jankaritech/configure-joplin-to-work-with-owncloud-infinite-scale-ocis-19ih
Configure Joplin to work with ownCloud Infinite Scale (oCIS)

I love to use Joplin to organize my notes. To synchronize the notes between different devices I have...

DEV Community
@arturN that's good to know, are the files stored in plain markdown like Obsidian this way? I thought Joplin had its own storage system for syncing. I'm using the Joplin server atm but if the files are actually accessible from OC this could be useful.
@connel they are MD files, but in a complex structure, so you can access them, but should be careful to edit them.
It works also on Opencloud, when I wrote the article there was only oCIS
