New ADD medication. Atomoxetine. Day 1.
Supposed to take several days before any effect but I already feel like I'm hungover, and slightly clearer in my head, but with a hangover type headache and that unpleasant feeling you get in your whole body.
We'll see how this goes.

It's always when you get a new perspective that you can more easily see your old perspective.

Apparently every word, sentence and object that I look at, normally acts as a nucleation site that forms a cluster of thought embryos attached to them. Like clusters of bubbles in a glass of soda or beer.

And apparently that is a distracting thing, not only when big bubbles form and catch (divert) my attention. The foam itself is distracting. Hm. Interesting.

@macberg

Best of luck with that - phasing in new medication is rarely fun, but sometimes both requried and ultimately helpful.

I finally got new meds for my seasonal depression this year, and it was the best winter in 10+ years, from a mental health PoV.

@airwhale Thank you. Yeah if it works it could be worth some side effects.

Congrats on successfully attenuating the SAD. I get that, too most winters. But this winter was quite alright for me anyway for some reason. My hypothesis is that it was the snow. Even though I dislike snow, it's way better than slush, and it reminded me of fun childhood winters, and the snow provides some extra light.
