Our intro and Q from my kid:

Q1. Where are you posting from today? If you needed any motivation, what's something that motivated you to ride this week?

#BikeNiteQ #BikeTooter cc @bikenite

@ascentale @bikenite

Q1. Tokyo, Japan. My motivation was to get out on the river and enjoy the sakura while it was in bloom! (See my response to No. 8.)

@oheso @ascentale @bikenite Oh it's peak here too, particularly at our most famous location at the Quad on UW main campus. I biked along some genuinely spectacular neighbourhood strands on the way to Remote Site on Thursday, too. It's looking like a good year in this way, at least. <3

@moira @ascentale @bikenite TV is showing views now from Ueno Park. Of course the sakura there are lovely. Having experienced Ueno Park during hanami (sakura viewing season), I can promise that I would not willingly do so again.

@oheso @ascentale @bikenite That's not something I ever did, so I can only imagine the mob. While obviously it's not close to like that here, it's still a big enough deal that local publications publish guides on how to avoid the crowds:

@moira @ascentale @bikenite That's gorgeous!

We're going out tomorrow (on foot) along the Kandagawa (a river that runs near our flat). It's lined with sakura on both sides.

@oheso @ascentale @bikenite Oh nice, I love a good riverwalk. Have fun! :D
