AI "training" at work and... It's weird and irritating to me that the whole "revolution" is just "What if we made super huge neural networks?"

I was reading about basically this tech back in high school but we didn't have enough stolen data and fast enough processors to do *this* with it.

There's no revolution, it's literally just yesterday's tech made really big.

And the very next video is about *not* using AI for everything because it's not a panacea nor can it work with vague and unmeasurable outcomes...

It's weird that the company who can't go a single meeting in a single team without pushing AI has allowed this kind of "negativity" to be part of their training.

@gooba42 this is what a I always say: ever since we decided to make smartphones a standard (or a bit before that) technology has been about just doing more, without any regard for optimization, purpose, enjoyment or efficiency.
More processor power, more hyperrealistic details, less power per buck, less efficiency, meaningless minimal progress besides consuming more energy and battery life at alarming rates.
Battery has been the only real upgrade in the past 15 years and it's measly.
