I've been saying for years that people are going to go back to 90s style MTBs, and according to my younger friends it's happening.

People don't want all this nonsense.

@billyjoebowers Its about the steel. The last Cr-Mo frames are from the 90's. Lightweight, repairable and can be modded.

From the mid 90's aluminium frames took over, and later carbon. Both doesnt have the mentioned qualities from steel bikes.

A steel frame can be a 'buy it for life' companion. But prices are becoming high.

So if your not going to spend time weld anyway, find a good alu frame and start pedaling.
