@Viss @soatok @josephcox It's important to remember here any US based company is going to be subject to US laws. Which unfortunately means any US company that has your information is obligated to give it.
Privacy is pretty much nonexistent in the US, treat any interaction with US companies appropriately.

@Viss @soatok @josephcox I'm not defending Apple at all, I'm saying ALL US companies are subject to these laws, you can't put your faith in ANY of them. Regardless of which one you personally think is better. All of them will do this, and all of them have done so in the past.

@Viss @soatok @josephcox From what I've seen, Twitter just sold the data so anyone could buy it. Including law enforcement and the government. And I could just never trust a company run by Elon Musk.
