@thomasareed not true. warrant canaries exist, others will tell you if your data has been requested (unless its an nsa gag order type) - there are a bunch of ways to comply with law enforcement and also introduce notifications and resistance

@zrowolf @thomasareed facebook famously asked peopel for their phone numbers, claiming it was for 2fa, then used it for marketing. then apple did the same thing, then lied about it.
