@cwebber nice that'll make it easier than ever to send my secret chats to openai
@cwebber "Pure Rust using only std. Hand-written HTTP client, JSON parser, base64 encoder, and scheduler." i dont think it counts as 'zero dependencies' if you had claude copy paste all that in it
oh never mind its even sillier https://github.com/hajekad/signal-bot-crawly/blob/master/src/http.rs

@alice @cwebber why take dependencies on well-tested and reviewed libraries when you can have Claude reinvent wheels made of non-deterministic best-guess slop and based on the well-publicized fact that the triangle is the most efficient shape
@alice @cwebber
It's kinda amusing how naive the implementation is, compared to something that a schoolkid would have done by dropping a TIDIRC component (that is as an IRC client within the Indy components collection) on a form in Delphi IDE, filling a few fields and calling it a day.

@cwebber How do we keep producing so much nope?
@cwebber who needs to tap the wires when you can just make openclaw do it for you
@cwebber This is "very bad idea" written all over it.
@WTL @cwebber one might say it's clawly a bad idea

@cwebber Wow. Ugh.

Crawly sure is quite a fitting name too. It definitely is creepy and it does feel like it's probably covered in bugs.
