it doesn't matter. it's about sending a message. the only thing that will make corporations exclude jk rowling is making her unprofitable. boycotts work. maybe a boycott here won't make big enough of a dent as you surmise, but any dent is worth pursuing, and people do listen to the deserved stink over her vile hate. so we shall make the biggest stink we can
there's other ways to make noise
it's not just a boycott, it's a repertoire of rejection. a boycott does not need to stand alone. and it does matter
