Sini TuuliaYesterday I achieved some quilting. These are some nearly finished blocks, they just need to be trimmed. I quite like them, this gray set turned out nice, there's probably a dozen at most of the mostly gray and pale ones?
I arranged the blocks to be constructed by the colour of the bordering bits so I could keep sewing with the same thread longer and could just have a stack of the triangles without keeping track of which goes where, and only did the grays, the teal and some of the dark blues yesterday. These are pretty nice, too.
The brain, it enjoys when the colours match.
I *am* trying to get rid of fabrics I've gotten or used elsewhere at some point, but wow am I probably going to get hung up on everything going together harmoniously, when I believe that quilts are supposed to tickle the lobe in your brain that goes "Oh that's HORRIBLE. I love it." when it perceives something a bit chaotic...
Might I interest you in some more colours and shapes? I'm still unsure how well all of these are going to go together, but I've sure used the same fabrics for most of them!

@megsobrien I resisted trying it for years and then it swiftly got out of hand... But it is pretty enjoyable!
If paying silly amounts of money for materials and tools and then more materials just for the pleasure of making something and then possibly giving it away because you can only keep so many quilts, it may be the craft for you!
