@danie10 Nice write up. I also switched to Manjaro in 2016 because I got a new laptop that absolutely needed a brand new 4.4 kernel and Manjaro had made switching kernels so easy, plus it had the last 4.4rc already available. The main downstairs/game PC with Manjaro is certainly crufty after many years but running fine. My main laptop and upstairs PC I switched to Endeavour a year or two ago. Enjoying the polished yet leaner install... and never had any stability issues, so that's excellent :-)

@fschaap yes Manjaro's kernel switching is the best. One of it's features.
