If I was on Artemis I'd spend the 40 minute radio blackout rigging all the clocks, logs, instrumentts etc to show that 6 hours had passed, then refuse to comment on what I'd seen on the far side.
This is probably why I'm not allowed on the Artemis.

@shellsharks @rysiek A lot of journalists and influencers assume that most people are like them. They project their own competencies, or lack of them to the wider public.
This is similar to a review who reviews a new computer and the first thing they do is encode 4k video.
They assume that everyone wants to do that.

Also they are often missing the point that open source projects are evolving around a community. The community dictates the direction a project will evolve and not some kind of corporate agenda.

In any case the majority of journalists have decided to ignore mastodon and fediverse in general and quite a few of them did what they could to manipulate their audience away from fediverse.

If a German citizen gets sanctioned by the US government, once this is implemented (later this year), that means they will no longer be able to be a participating member of German society, e.g. to show their (digital) driver's license to traffic police

The access point in the attic had gone haywire sometime yesterday.

Spent 45 minutes trying to get it to work again and eventually unplugging both access points, restarting the main and then restarting the secondary fixed it.

"Did you turn it off and on again?"

I really hate these kind of stupid fixes for glitches that are pretty much impossible to track down.

Some kind of buffer or process got stuck for whatever reason and we'll never know because it likely will not happen soon again...

Dat is dus niet wat je wilt, maar ze hebben ons "in de tang". Oplossingen zonder commercieel aspect (in de zin van aandeelhousers), maar met menselijke waardigheid, naleving AVG zijn van belang.
