for you #FountainPen people, what's a good way to store your pens on your desk?
Nick@turgon I have one too, but it's so large. And even a smaller one, it would feel more like packing them away. I'm thinking of how to store the ones that I use every day.

Drawer? Backpack? Small pen case (that only holds about 4)? Maybe just a pretty little box, preferably padded/felt inside?

unattributed πβοΈ@thelinuxcast I have several storage solutions. The main one is a couple of stands / racks that are on my desktop. Another is a wood pen case I keep on a nearby shelf. All my pens that aren't stored in these locations are stored in pen rolls that I keep in a drawer.

@thelinuxcast Yeah, they're dirt cheap on Amazon... I wouldn't buy them though. They are just cheap plastic ($10 for four of them: https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Display-6-Slots-Eyebrow-Organizer/dp/B08B13SSJJ).
I just found another one that is acrylic that looks pretty decent. I've ordered it (about $13USD), but it's going to be a couple of weeks until I get it.
IMO - vertical is better. Should be able to set the pens nib-down when I need to make certain the feed gets saturated.
@thelinuxcast Should have mentioned - the two black horizontal ones are on Amazon as well. They are made with a nice acrylic...I really wish they made a five pen version.

@courtneysammis That is pretty cool. If I had a printer, I would do something like that only mini for just a couple pens.

@thelinuxcast either horizontally or vertically with nib facing up, though I would personally vouch for horizontality so that the ink doesn't flow down and it's ready to write
