gonna be real with you, I couldn't give less of a shit if the antisemitism game is well made. there's lots of games that are well made that don't have horrific politics and don't support our enemy. if you go out of your way to promote this specific game for whatever reason you have to expect pushback. hiding behind "apolitical" civility to try and make the impolite angry trannies out as the bad ones isn't gonna make you many friends here.

@elexia It's not about some video game. There are lots of awesome, useful things out in the world made by shitty people or companies. @adrianmorales except Rowling is still using her wealth and influence to harm trans people. and yeah it's not just some video game, it's one with clearly antisemitic themes that you refuse to even address. you coming into someone's mentions to promote this unprompted makes you distinctly a person we would never be friends with.
I'm not sure what your deal is, if you're just some troll or if you have a deep need for people to accept your problematic consumer decisions, but you're getting no absolution from us and we won't engage further.

@rotbrain I sadly bought a full set of the books before realising how bad JKR is. I can't think of anything "fun" to do with them. I'd consider burning them but I don't have a fireplace or any other good place to do that, and would prefer not to add that pollution to the atmosphere anyway.

My intention is to sell them to a local second-hand book store, where I know the owner is at least aware of JKR being problematic. He'll resell them anyway, but I figure a small business profiting off reselling those books isn't the worst thing; at least JKR doesn't get more money for them.

The amusing thing lost on J/K is if you replace wizard with transgender, the story of Harry Potter doesn't change much. It's still about a young boy coming to grips with being different in a world where "normal" people don't believe he is what he says he is, and the community of those who do still has infighting over which letter is more important.
