"President Donald Trump's approval rating fell in recent days to its lowest point since he returned to the White House, hit by a surge in fuel prices and widespread disapproval of the war he launched on Iran, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

The four-day poll, completed on Monday, showed 36% of Americans approve of Trump's ‌job performance, down from 40% in a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted last week."

@wdlindsy @NicelyManifest I'd like to meet a few of the 36 percent people and give them each of them a good kick in the ass. I don't think it would help them get a grip on reality, but it would certainly make me feel a little better.

@mlanger @wdlindsy 36% is a staggeringly high value for a serial criminal.

Do Americans rely so much on influence and an absence of reflection and thought?

Trump is decisive. That is probably his only asset. But that is also useless when decisions are flawed.

@NicelyManifest @mlanger @wdlindsy There’s always been an element of “who gets posed the question/ how representative is their sample.” But now there’s an added layer: if posed that question in the first place, *who feels safe responding* and does that skew the result?
