I grew up in #Friesland, in the north of the Netherlands. There we interact mainly in our own Frisian language, while the rest of the country speaks Dutch and or some dialects.
To me it is still the easiest to interact in my native language, but also comfortable in Dutch, English and less in German and even more less in French. 1/2
But I think it would be a great improvement if people all over the world would start to learn one universal language, next to their native one(s).
This will make it easier to understand each other and maybe prevent and stop stupid, future wars.

Bonvolu nomi iun ajn militon, unu solan militon, kiu komenciĝis pro nekompreno de lingvo. Ĉiuj gvidantoj, kiuj atingas la potencon, havas aliron al fluaj, lingve edukitaj interpretistoj kaj plurlingvuloj por ĉiu "malamiko", kiun la potenco eble havas.
Lingvo ne estas kaj neniam estis la problemo.
Esperanto kiel helplingvo estas por ordinaraj homoj, por ke ili evitu la prezon de miloj da horoj da praktiko kaj instrukotizoj dum jaroj kaj jaroj nur por rekte paroli kun aliaj ordinaraj homoj.
Ordinaraj homoj ne komencas militojn. Avideco, envio kaj malamo faras tion.
Ne lingvo!
@pontisto Lingvo povas iom helpi ordinarajn homojn batali kontraŭ misinformado pri tio, kio vere okazas en aliaj landoj. Bedaŭrinde, tio ja ne sufiĉas por tutmonda paco.
