"President Donald Trump's approval rating fell in recent days to its lowest point since he returned to the White House, hit by a surge ​in fuel prices and widespread disapproval of the war he launched on Iran, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

The four-day poll, completed on Monday, showed 36% of Americans approve of Trump's ‌job performance, down from 40% in a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted last week."

@wdlindsy @NicelyManifest I'd like to meet a few of the 36 percent people and give them each of them a good kick in the ass. I don't think it would help them get a grip on reality, but it would certainly make me feel a little better.

Do Americans rely so much on influence and an absence of reflection and thought?

Trump is decisive. That is probably his only asset. But that is also useless when decisions are flawed.

@NicelyManifest @wdlindsy I agree with everything you're saying 100%. I also believe that at least 36% of Americans are incapable of independent thought or are downright evil. How else could anyone be in favor of what he is doing to this country?

@NicelyManifest @wdlindsy I think it goes beyond that. I think it's tribalism. Thinking that your group is so much better and smarter than the other group and ignoring every bit of evidence to the contrary. Divide and conquer is the goal and they've done an excellent job.

Our genetics still has a long way to go to lose tribalist tendencies.
