The map can help understand a local mesh setup and the role of propagation nodes, the audio channels and so on. Pressing "announce" on a node shows up in the map in real time. This is shown also in these videos https://youtube.com/shorts/zt1yB5kgiV4?si=x6AmIr53i7NV59Uz

@adingbatponder I've been having an issue with my reticulum setup. I can't seem to get autodiscovery to work. It claims that " The networking hardware or a firewall may be blocking multicast traffic."

Any thoughts?
Are there any nixos specific settings you use beyond enabling avahi, etc?

@cbleslie my entire reticulum setup is in my flake (which can be installed using flake parts also which does not require the whole flake) , see guide / explainer here

BUT I do not yet use the TCP connection at all only lora radio at the moment... so not sure I have anything that could help you if you are connecting over internet. (Try feeding errors into claude / chatgpt. Claude code is best at command line & will fix your problem for sure if it can see your setup files)
