Been digging through a couple of boxes looking for something, and look what I've found!

I've bought this one ~10 years ago just to play Gravity Rush, although it came with a Minecraft, Rayman Origins and an Uncharted cartridges from it's prior owner.

What was your favourite #PSVita/#PSP game from back then? (as in, I want to play something fun. any suggestions?)

@adnan
- Gravity Rush (well, Gravity Daze on mine), of course.
- Earth Defense Force 2 and 2017 Portable, which brought a ton of the newer abilities to the old titles.
- Kagero: Dark Side Princess (AKA Deception IV: Blood Ties) which I _still_ haven't beaten...

@adnan I bought mine primarily of Gravity Rush and Vanillaware games.

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, Muramasa Rebirth and Dragon's Crown (in descending order of personal enjoyment) are some of the best side scrollers ever made and look absolutely gorgeous!

Dungeon Travelers 2 is to this day the best dungeon crawler I’ve ever played, with enormous amounts of content and very fun endgame encounters. The only caveat is that it’s very fanservice heavy, which can be a turnoff for some.

@adnan Tearaway was the original hardware showcase game, which is takes advantage of the console features in various cook games.

Vita also has Steins;Gate and a couple of Ys games. You can play those on a lot of different platforms these days, but I first experienced them on this little machine.

I dug mine out of the box while writing this post, and it’s adorable how tiny it is compared to a Steam Deck!

@adnan So many.

TxK is absolutely killer. Not sure if you can still buy it though as there was some sort of row with Atari.

Resogun is an excellent shooter.

I also really enjoyed Little Big Planet and Tearaway (a 3D platformer made by the same people as Little Big Planet).

The Vita has a *really* good version of Everybody's Golf.

Dragon's Crown is a great 2.5D fight-and-scroll-right.

@adnan Oh, and Odin Sphere. And Persona 4 Golden.

@adnan

As other have said, #Tearaway is a great time. The PS4 version is good fun but the uniqueness of the OG Vita version needs to be experienced to fully appreciate it.

I'll throw out #SoundShapes and #FrobisherSays. The latter is a sort of WarioWare mini-game collection and the former is a music based platformer.

@adnan The Need for Speed: Most Wanted port is really solid
@adnan bought one for my, then young, son. He loved Vita Pets, rogue legacy and (of course) Minecraft. We also used it as a serving screen for the PS4.
The vita was great.
@adnan Although I did practically only buy my PSP for Crisis Core, I ended up playing a lot of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on it.
