I have to say one of my favorite things to play on there has been the #Sony #PSP line-up. Upscaling the games by 5x has made those old environments truly come to life. What a pleasure it has been to play some of those (well I suppose it is meant to be 'testing'!)

Making some good progress in Ridge Racers on PSP.
Just completed Tour 12 with all 1st places and thus unlocked the EX Tours as well.
Finally starting to get a bit of a challenge sometimes as I was winning races with 16 seconds or more ahead of the second place.

Also taking notes to learn a bit while im at it. 😉

Also installing some Vita games I want to get back to.
I know it’s very basic tech at this point, but being able to download my old saves from 12 years ago on PSN, while I didn’t even have PS+ for about a decade feels a bit like magic to me. 😅

🦇 Atari ST is online: We had visits from HighWire – the custom-built browser for Atari's classic TOS (Tramiel Operating System). It’s an incredible feeling to serve our text content to a 16-bit system from the late 80s!

🎮 Netscape 4.0 on a PSP?! Yes, you read that right. Someone actually got the Netscape Navigator from 1997 running on a PlayStation Portable (with a massive 653 clicks!). This is most likely running via a homebrew Linux port or a DOSBox emulation on the handheld. Absolute madness!

👔 The Business Dinos live: We also recorded visits from old BlackBerry 10 devices and a genuine IBM OS/2 Warp system!

Whether you’re dragging your old Ataris out of the basement or testing obscure emulators on consoles – the Frog pond is open for you. Keep it up!

Went back to Ridge Racers 1 on PSP last night.
Thinking I would play half an hour, perhaps an hour and then play some more Lumines, but before I knew it, we were 3 hours later and I started having trouble looking at the screen due to exhaustion.

It's been many years since I played it, but I wanted to go back to the very first PSP game I played 26 years ago when I got it not long after the Japanese launch as Lee from Videogameimports kept pushing me into getting one. 😄

Preaching to the choir here, but man, does this game look gorgeous even all these years later.
The atmosphere is out of this world, especially during those dusk races where the sun reflects off of the pavement perfectly, giving the whole scene a warm, cozy glow.
Or how the lights in the tunnels light up the smoke from drifting.

I honestly feel that this 21+ year old looks better than most Switch racing games.
Sure, the art direction is doing a ton of heavy lifting, but still.
Can't wait to play more tonight.

#FinalFantasy : Crisis Core Reunion es un juego bastante legendario, que puede verse afectado que sea originalmente un juego de PSP o cómo se ve en #Nintendo Swich. Siempre ha tenido un pequeño lugar dentro de mi amor por la saga pero por fin me lo he pasado para tener una mejor perspectiva
