In my boring everyday life, I live in Copenhagen and work on developing mobile apps on iOS.
In my less boring life, I enjoy traveling, hiking, camping and all kinds of outdoor activities.
I usually post about the latter.
All photos are my own.

Today I learned June 7 is a World #Swift day. This is the kind of day I’m happy to celebrate!

The Volcano, The Elf Rock And The Rainbow
On a clear day such as this one in late October the view from Dyrhólaey is astonishing.
In the distance is Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano which disrupted air traffic for a week in 2010.
The steep-sided mountain is Pétursey; good elves live on one side and evil elves are on the other. Be quiet and respectful near their home and they will leave you in peace.
And the rainbow? Just serendipity!

From LB: "In ten days last month, the Wikimedia Foundation fired the longtime lead developer of MediaWiki and disbanded the team whose entire job was to listen to volunteers. Most of the people they fired were union organizers. Wikipedia’s editors are now threatening to strike....
The Foundation has spent twenty years telling donors it is not like other tech companies. The union drive is the moment when that claim either becomes true or admits it was always marketing." https://medium.com/@jakeorlowitz/wikipedia-is-doing-the-capitalist-thing-56a393232943
Ever wondered what happens when you open your front door and just keep walking? 🚶♂️
Will Rolls did exactly that – escalating a silly idea into a full documentary walk across the entirety of Germany. Testing endurance with a brutal 40 km daily pace, he journeyed from the flat north of Schleswig-Holstein all the way down to Bavaria.
Have you ever attempted an extreme endurance challenge?
