Michael T Babcock@brie standard #rant here: I wish all new electronics came with built-in (user enabled) tracking hardware compatible with something like Tile (cross-platform) or at least a noise-maker linked to your cloud account. Kudos to Google for making their new Google TV remote create loud noises when you lose it.
That aside, and another nod to Tile: they make a 'wallet' locator that's super thin and credit-card sized. It fits nicely on the back of an e-reader. If you so desire.

@mikebabcock 💡 Interesting idea! I would like to have the option to pay a little more for a device with tracking built-in.
🤭 Kind of an aside but I also want to self-host the infra -- kinda like what https://fmd-foss.org/docs/overview is seeking to do.
🎯 Either way, I don't want something like my e-reader to basically be treated as disposable. In theory, this one will get attached to my phone w/ Pixelsnap. I'll definitely follow up if I cave and get a tracker especially for this device.
