What a really shitty way to treat children. I hope all the people responsible for this have something happen in their personal life that gives them pause to recognise the unnecessary pain they've inflicted on innocents. And I hope it eats away at them inside. And I hope they choose to use that pain to undo some of their harms.

@TheBreadmonkey I don't know if the org has been seized by transphobic hate activists or if it's "just following the law", but if it's the latter the only responsible choices would have been civil disobedience or dissolving the org entirely.

More of the latter. Though many people think they haven't put up enough of a fight against it, the simple fact is that if it did come to a fight, one side is a charity organisation with a budget written largely in IOU post-it notes, and the other has enough dark money and Harry Potter income to sustain a court case until it straight up bankrupts the Guides.
