Curious Loth-cat

Sometimes, despite the warning not to, I totally judge a book by its cover when choosing what to read, which was the case with “Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter”. Fortunately, it more than lived up to its fantastic title and cover illustration.

@lothcat I am guilty of exactly this all the time. When I walk through a bookshop or a library it's always the cover that decides if I pick a book up and read its summary or introduction text. If a cover doesn't speak to me, I rarely choose a book that hasn't been recommended to me 🥹💀🙈
