@thunderbird Found it. The link does not work in Firefox for IOS. I had to use Safari, this worked.

@monsieurbecker It's still planned! But we've had to pause while we think about some infrastructure issues for it, which is no small matter. SO it's sktill planned, just not on the immediate roadmap.

@schinkentoast Conversation view will be possible once we have our new database, and this blog and video explain a lot more! (https://blog.thunderbird.net/2025/10/video-conversation-view/) Linuxflower's response explains where we are with Sync - it's still on our radar, and we've had to pause because of infrastructure, and even if it isn't on the immediate roadmap it's still planned.

@thunderbird On Thunderbird Sync: We haven't forgotten about it and it's still on our radar. However, as the blog post states, we can only do so much at once and we felt like other things had a higher priority. It will eventually come but I can't currently give you a date.

@linuxflower @thunderbird Thunderbird Sync is already a realllllly long time on the team’s radar, I mean, it was meant to be available in 2023 or shortly after https://blog.thunderbird.net/2023/07/an-update-on-thunderbird-sync/
In 2025, a thunderbird employee wrote on Reddit that it would be available in 2025: https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbird/comments/1i32uau/comment/m7s8t32/
And now it’s not even on this year’s roadmap.

@thunderbird Under the Planned section for "Encryption and Security Improvements", the "harden phishing email prevention" sounds great (but incredibly difficult). Security vs convenience, looking forward to seeing the results.
